My life has always centered on the arts. I grew up in Honduras, and music and dancing are in my blood. I have always had a passion for the music of Brazil, in particular Samba and Bossa Nova. More recently I've been listening to a lot of American Jazz. After majoring in graphic design at the San Carlos University of Guatemala, I began a lifelong love affair with photography. For four years I shot photos on field assignments for the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism, working alongside photographers and researchers from various scientific groups, academic institutions, and National Geographic Magazine.

After moving to the United States, I soon met and married my husband of 16 years, Ryan Rhea, who taught me how to use Photoshop to design websites. We've been working together ever since. Some of our clients include HGTV, Fed Ex, International Paper, Kraft Foods, Great American Country, DIY Channel, Food Network, Hilton Hotels, GE Corporation, and Smith/Nephew.

My latest hobby is the piano, and I occasionally pick up and strum on my Cordoba GK Studio nylon string.
